Kremlin says Russia in talks on Belarusian fertilizer transit

MOSCOW, Feb 2 (PRIME) -- The Russian government is discussing redirection of Belarusian potash fertilizers transit from Lithuania to the Russian ports after Lithuania cancelled a transit deal over U.S. sanctions against potash fertilizer maker Belaruskali, spokesman for the president Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

"You should rather ask the Economic Development Ministry, I'd like to forward it to them. This issue is on the agenda, it is being discussed," Peskov said.

He added that the shipments had not started.
